If they are looking to feel as they do reading P&P here, they will be disappointed. When I f...We share similar viewpoints of Longbourn. When I first read it six years ago, I was put off by the unpleasant atmosphere that Baker created, and also in awe of her skill as a writer. Pride and Prejudice is like a fairy tale. Austen leaves out descriptions and leaves much to the reader's imagination.
